Just some observations... What's with the stupid text written on the screen cover of the laptop?
This has Bluetooth® 4.1 and Wireless 5. Not very future proofed in terms of its wireless capabilities.
This is a pretty overpriced laptop as well for the CPU it has. This is called Mendocino which is AMD's answer to Intel's Celeron and Pentium series low cost CPUs. This uses the same design as the SteamDesk APU, using combination of just 4 Zen 2 Cores with just 2 CU RDNA 2 graphics. These are okay for $250-$300 range with this kind of configuration and way overprirced for 350 bucks.

True, but it looks like the wireless module is M.2 rather than soldered https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gb8CmV__PMk - so that can probably be upgraded. The NVME is x2 Gen 3, but imo that will just make it cheap to upgrade (assuming it's not soldered as the first commenter on the video mentioned). Certainly not fast access, but this isn't exactly a blazing high end machine,

Ugh, it's one of the fake 7K CPUs AMD shat out a while ago. What you need to look for is a SEVENTY-FIVE THIRTY (7530U) which is a real deal new-gen laptop CPU on par with the 1235/1335U from Intel.

This one is even older and not even part of the Ryzen 7000 series barnding where AMD mixed Zen 3, Zen 3+ ands Zen 4 CPU and Vega, RDNA 2 and RDNA 3 Graphics under same branding. This was released before that and use the SOC design of Steamdesk. Read my last post.
HDMI 1.4 so only 4K/30hz.
USB-C 3.2 gen 1 5gbps so only 4K/30hz
Along with others commenting about subpar CPU and dated Bluetooth/Wifi versions... IMO worth it to spend another $100 or find a similar priced but older leftover 11th gen or Ryzen 5000 laptop with better specs.

Also the 7640U is a Zen 4 chip, the absolute newest architecture
If you find a deal on that, go get it because it performs better than Intel

Exactly right.
In the new Marchitecture[courtesy of Mike Magee] of AMD, seems like the morons who worked with Intel in the 2000s have joined AMD 15 years later. In the new naming convention, it is the 3rd digit that signifies the generational or "core" information
7xNy
N = 5 -> Zen 4
N = 4 -> Zen 4
N = 3 -> Zen 3/3+
N = 2 -> Zen 2
But here is the weirdness. The upper market segment of Ryzen 9 would have the plus core as well as IO features.
For example we have
5600U - 6C/12T - 7nm - Zen 3 - DDR4 - RDNA1 - USB3 - PCIEX3 - https://www.amd.com/en/product/10851
6600U - 6C/12T - 6nm - Zen 3+ - DDR5 - RDNA2 - USB4 - PCIEX4 - https://www.amd.com/en/product/11596
In the new naming convention the they would be called 7n3m and second 7x3y. What is the nm vs xy? Other than looking at the memory type supported you cannot identify.
Worse the OEMs are purposefully spiteful of AMD that they will have the bare minimum. To my knowledge AMD supported HDMI 2.0 since 4xxx if mot earlier.. Now we have even 5xxx based chips rebadged as 7x3x having HDMI 1.4?? WTF!

You're incorrect.
3rd digit needs to be a 4… For Zen4, which is the newest.
7530u that you mentioned is old and a renamed Ryzen 5625u.
Exactly right.
