Highly recommend. This is the STANDARD car vacuum amongst professional detailers. Dont even question this thing at all - with the car cleaning kit included its a no brainer. Not typically on sale.

Without the car cleaning kit, these usually go on sale for $99. Whats special about that kit besides some miniaturized heads?

Or get a less powerful smaller motor vacuum if the noise level bothers you. And its called a diffuser, not silencer.

I actually bought the 14 Gallon 6hp with car kit for 119 and not sure how that compares to this one. I think this one is more compact which may be better for some folks. The 6hp is a beast!

I have had this vac for close to 20 years and it is awesome. Really powerful and compact for its size. No issues other the than the filters aren't cheap.

Damn I have a 16 gallon RIDGID and always wanted a smaller one for ease of use when vacuuming small stuff like vehicles. I was looking to get a ryobi 18v but I know this is better quality even with dealing with an outlet or extension.

Yep. You just connect to hose to the exhaust outlet on the rear of the vac. They also sell diffuser/mufflers that attach to that exhaust port to quiet down the noise, as this vacuum is very powerful for it's size and can be pretty loud.
