If you're a TotalTech member I think Best Buy has a few of the 7800 XTs in the $470-$499 price range at the moment. Here's to hoping there is a black friday deal brining the 7800 XT to $450 cause I'm ready to pounce.

I've been watching this price for the past few weeks, Amazon will match Newegg every time it drops in price. If you are trying to lock in this price, I would go with Amazon since it has holiday extended return policy of 1/31. The ship date is in December though, but it's a good way to hold the price to see what BF brings and cancelling is easy, I cancelled and repurchased when it dropped from $520 to $514.

I have been watching this card for weeks! I hope it drops during BF. I wanted to get a 3 Fan one. $480 would be a sweet-spot to get this card.

I erred on 7800 XT side because you can kinda conflate that there are 70+ million 12GB cards out there(PS5/Xbox) that are being used as the minimum baseline configuration from here on out... The consoles have finally hit critical mass.
It is very important to recognize that consoles used shared RAM. So yes they have 16 GB, but that's total RAM, the GPU memory is also the system memory.

I think their black friday ad is already out, unlses that's pre-black friday and there will be a black friday and a post black friday. So freaking confusing anymore. I totally get why but I'm bummed they made the new pay tiers to give the discounts. I was liking that 10 percent off up to $500, would have been perfect for either card being right around $500.

Unless you got a processor that doesn't have a integrated GPU. Then it's not so much a want. This one absolutely is, but one is still needed.
