I have both. The built in charger cord in the base of the JLab I really liked. The cord the Skullcandy came with is a joke. The touch controls are different depending on which earbud on Jlabs. Annoying for people who listen with one earbud like me. The Skullcandy double tap is pause/play on both buds. Case is big in Skullcandy because they have the little lollipop sticks for whatever reason. As someone else mentioned the silicone caps come off sometimes but I've gone weeks without it happening and I am a heavy user. People liked the mic on the Jlab more than the Skullcandy. Just off top of head.

I have these. They don't fit properly, the case is bulky. The rubber caps always fall off, don't stay in place.. Unusable

Can anyone comment on the call quality? I have an android and have a hard time finding good cheap earbuds for calls. Trying to replace my Taotronics 95s (R.I.P.)

For the price not bad earphones but super unreliable. One side goes of and on. Bought two, although refurbished, same problem.

Jlab cord is annoying if you use magnetic charge adapters. Can get female to female adapters on Ali but it's a pain.

The ear silicon wings need to be kept clean of oil on the skullcandy, seepage causes the slip off.

Lollipop sticks better distribute weight for most ears.

And unless it's just for podcasts, should aim for anc model
