For what it's worth, I've actually had two of theirs, the first had very good video but no WiFi but I just got their newer unit with WiFi and it's awesome. I have the E3 and I actually really like it.

I've had some other cheap Chinese dashcams, these aren't cheap, they work well, I use them when I do Uber. A lot cheaper than some of the more well known name brands and still has great features, the sensor seems to be pretty good but I don't know the brand. I wish I could have afforded the more expensive one, they had a Sony sensor on it, maybe next vehicle.

After watching the newest reviews showing it off, i ordered one and can verify there's no dash cam like the Vantrue N4 Pro. Simply because it does the dual exposure HDR that lets you read moving license plates, at night.

If you are in an accident there is a very big difference when showing the cam footage to police/insurance and saying "Look at this guy hit me and speed off" and "Look at this guy hit me and speed off but we can read his license plate clear as day"

I will always pay more for that difference.

I paid $220 lol. Absolutely worth it. I have been using dashcams since 2012 and E2 is the best one I have ever had.

I have the E2 dual...it strangely runs warm/hot. Not sure if it will be a problem long term. Quality of the video is very nice.

Do these kill your battery? I had a blackvue some years ago and the parking mode wasn't great for the battery

How's the downloading of clips? I currently have a Vava and the clip downloading capability is horribly slow and remedial. I've given up too many times.

What is the main use for the WiFi? Just using it to transfer recordings? I would've thought that pulling the memory card out and sticking it in your computer would have such faster transfer speeds that it is still better than the convenience of WiFi.

Same. DR650 and it killed my battery, even with it's low voltage cut off.

I don't have this one, I have a Nextbase. Pulling videos off of it via wifi isn't quite as fast as pulling the card and putting it in a reader, but it's not too slow to do either. It's much quicker than my Blackvue was. I'm going to get one of these for a second vehicle. One thing I don't like about nextbase is their parking mode is useless
