Tbh buying with Gift cards does save you "money" but you lose extended warranty benefit which some cards have.

Best Buy mush have saw the Target deal and they put the same deal 2 days earlier.. got to love this competition BB is savage. I am indeed to buy from both Target and BB lol

movies, tv shows, music, books, apps, in-app purchases, subs, hardware, apple subs, etc. If you feel most of these are a waste of money then hang on to the credits and wait till there is something you absolutely need that can be paid with gift cards.

You haven't bought things with a promo gift card in a while, have you? Most, if not, all stores will charge you $85 for the $100 GC and $15 for the promo gift card. This is to prevent exactly what you are suggesting people do. So, if you don't pick up the physical card, you will still have paid $15 for the promo card.

Either that or they won't e-mail the promo card until the item (Apple gift card) has been shipped or picked up (prevents shady consumer practices)
