Box is beat up kind of, but I have not had any time today to open it. Will try it over the weekend. Dell required it. I looked at my Fed Ex shipping notification email and it says:

Got mine. seems worthy. Had a tech q . my external monitor res is 2560x1440 . According to the dell website specs for the HDMI port
"HDMI 1.4 The maximum resolution supported over HDMI is 1920x1080 @60Hz. No 4K2K output."

So i thought i would have to get a thunderbolt to hdmi adapter to run the external monitor at native res However when i connected external monitor to the hdmi port it is runing at the native 2560 res. Which is great . But i am wondering if the specs are outdated or i am misreading them ?

i was actually able to switch to 75 Hz and it is working. apparently that is close to the limit for 1440p res. 4k limited at 30 Hz. so the dell specs could be more clear.
