We go through 6 bags about every 2-3 months, at my house as well as the same at my work. The bags are best by ~2025 now.

I make both espresso using a machine and cold brew with a baratza encore + takeya pitcher.
Bags from the last deal say they're good until January 2025 and my family always finishes at least a bag a month.

Why's that? I, all by myself, go through a 2.2lb bag every 45 days or so. Lavazza usually has expiration dates 18 months out at least, so...
Nobody uses price per oz bud. Quality coffee is always 1kg, 2.2lbs, world standard. Your request is absurd and for some reason really triggering to me lol
Expiration date might be 18 months out, but the beans remain fresh only couple of months after they were roasted. So yeah you can still use them, but the taste of the older bags will get dull over time. Try it out this time for yourself.
I do try it out, regularly. And I can tell you from direct experience that bag 1 of vacuum sealed lavazza, kimbo, dallmayer etc tastes exactly the same to me as bag 6 or 7. I guess my taste buds aren't that sophisticated
