For those needing a simple prescription update cvs has a $20 app that is simple to use and is verified by a doctor quickly. If you think your eyesight has changed I would recommend seeing a doc in person obviously but for quick renewal it is a lot cheaper even with insurance coverage.

This is a legit web site. Ordered from them for years. They didn't use to charge shipping even for the promo pricing (you will see multiple different prices for the same product depending on how you were referred - such as google, the link in this forum, direct, etc) but they have for the last several years unfortunately. Unlike other vendors that say they only charge $19.95 for the 90 pack for example, those sites then charge incredibly outrageous handling and shipping charges that far exceed any real savings (they provide the nonsense prices to get click bait via google search I think)

The $40 for the 90 pack is pricing I have not seen in many years, definitely pre-pandemic prices. Cheaper than Costco. For those needing acuvue moist, time to stock! upload your prescription and never got a call, with shipping usually within 1-2 days from NY

They are legit. I have been ordering from them for years. They will ask for a prescription but don't verify. They will still ship.

Do they verify prescription
Same as Seven87 said. I've ordered from them a few times, and they've never requested/required verification.

Not dumb
Did they call the doctor OR the doctors office
It's not illegal to not verify .
They would have to call to verify . They only do this 20-30% of the time
That's correct, they have 24hrs I believe to verify, after that they will just ship it out.

I have used this site and ContactLenseKings, way back when I was a broke college student (2016-2018). They do require you to provide your prescription. They will attempt to reach your optometrist, if they do not receive an answer, they will still ship them. I think the prescription just needs to be valid and they will ship them tbh. Back then I would just google the brand of the contacts and use the shopping tab on google. I used to get some crazy deals that were not available using the sites directly hahaha.

As for quality of the contacts, idk. I remember they felt a bit odd compared to my official pair of Air Optix. However, that could have just been me being paranoid. I have the tendency to overthink, and the thought of putting something in my eye that might be counterfeit scared me lol. That being said, if you are in a pinch, you could go for it. Otherwise, stick to more reputable stores.

You can also use 1-800 contacts app to renew your subscription for about $20. Fast and easy.

Acuvue Oasys 1-Day 90 Pack with HydraLuxe. All fees delivered for $47.64. These are very hard to find on sale and the best daily I've found. The catch you have to process your order one box at a time. If you add multiple boxes they add crazy processing fees. I've ordered and received the contacts from them.

I use ContactLenseKings. Google the Acuvue 90 day moist and there will be a link for them for $19.95 per box + $12.95 shipping for a total of $32.90.

The trick is to only order 1 box at a time. If you order 2 or more boxes in one order, they tack on a hefty processing fee.

These promo prices are good but their regular prices are insane compared to Costco. I haven't seen one online contact lens seller who beats Costco.

Acuvue Advance are some of the worst contacts I have tried. Some are bad (out of focus) out the box. Quick to form deposits, and they don't do dry eyes any justice buy night time.

Thanks for the heads-up on the Acuvue Oasys deal! Just ordered a box. You're right about those crazy fees on multiple boxes. Have you placed multiple orders at one-time?

Never ordered contact online. I have spectera insurance benefits how does it work on ezcontacts?
Beware: Most online contact lens companies run a scam. They sell contacts very cheap and then when you get to the final page of the ordering process they stick in a couple hundred dollar processing or handling fee. Or they show a price with rebate and then deny your rebate. Go to the BBB website to read reviews of these companies. I have found Costco beats all the online contact lens places (even those with rebates) without the hassle of rebates.

I have Eye Med insurance and they let you submit proof of purchase from online retailers and send you a check. When I wore bi-weekly lenses they ended up being free with the insurance and sometimes I ended up making money when there were rebates years ago and not the scam pricing. This year I went to daily wear and got $200 back from insurance and that was after they paid the exam.

The bi weekly is the same price as the Dr office after insurance. paid $180 last year for a year supply and got $20 rebate card but that was after insurance.
Buy them online and submit you receipt to insurance and it will be cheaper than your doctors office. Most years my lenses ended up being free when I did this,

Do they take insurance? Need to use my allowance.
You normally have to buy and submit your receipt to your insurance company, normally through an online form to get reimbursed.
