I contacted BB months ago asking about the difference and the person told me these are basically older stock, but they're all made with the same materials in the same place.

Not sure that person knew what they were talking about as others have mentioned likely differences.

I did end up buying the 12 inch standard though and it's nice. I will say, if you're on the heavier side (I'm ~200lbs), I'd go for the firmer 10 inch. I wish I had. This mattress does sink in after a few months.

I think from my research that's just natural settling in, but it made it less comfortable for me. The firmer one would be better for slightly heavier folks I'm betting.

Anyway, for $200 I would say this is a pretty dang good deal based on my experience with the standard.

I got my 10" firm a few days ago, but I'll preface this by saying that I'm no bed expert.

The mattress I HAD was a medium, and after 7-8 years it had become unbearable. A couple springs were poking up, and it was sinking in certain areas.

This firm is exactly what I needed (back/stomach sleeper).

It's a lot firmer than what I expected from a bed in a box. The top 1" layer of foam is soft, but the mattress has very little give overall. To me, it's a good compromise between my previous medium mattress and sleeping on a hardwood floor. I've seen it described as a 6-7/10 firmness - like I said, I'm not an expert, but I'd probably put it at a 7-8/10. I'm not sinking into it at all.

It inflates in about 10 seconds once fully unwrapped. No real off gassing or fumes to speak of, only a slight smell. It's one sided. I've seen people complain about the edges on similar models, but the edge support on the firm feel about as good as my prior spring mattress. It inflated to the full 10", if not slightly more.

I'm just now waking up on day 4 and I'm very comfortable lying here.

Obviously I can't speak for how well it will hold up, but I'm happy with my purchase for now.

The biggest difference seems to be the layers in the mattress. Going by the images on walmart.com and the BB website:
Standard 12":
https://i5.walmartimages.com/asr/...nBg=FFFFFF

Signature 12":
https://res.cloudinary.com/helixs...a=BAAAROBs

So the signature has 5 layers vs 3 on the standard. the 14" standard seems to have 4 layers (2" foam base layer).

How does this compare to Purple Mattress, Casper, or just a Simmons Beauty Rest Black?

Good info, thanks. Did they specify they cover the cost of that?
Walmart covers the charge; otherwise I'd stuff it in the SUV and drop it off at customer service crammed into a cart laugh out loud

Ok this is kinda long but I hope it helps. Just got the 10" queen delivered to me 3 days ago and have slept 2 nights on it. I had been sleeping the last couple of weeks on the floor on a yoga mat with a blanket on top of it. My old mattress I had for 4 years was a 15.5"Serta Masterpiece Leopold and it was just too soft. My back was stiff every morning. I really like this new mattress. I would say it is definitely more firm than my old bed and gives me good support. I know someone mentioned it doesn't have any edge support but on the wayfair site it says it does and I feel like it does have plenty. I feel like sleeping on the floor has helped my back and made me stronger. I'm a side sleeper so my hips did hurt the first couple of nights on the floor. I'm glad to be back on a bed and my back has felt great after sleeping on it but I may sleep on the floor still a couple times a week still since I have gotten used to it. The manufacture date on the mattress was Dec. 6 2023

Someone picks up the Mattress at your home? Do you need to try to cram it back into a box?

I bought a Novaform 10" cheap full size bed at Costco for my 4 year old and it got recalled due to moisture concerns in the warehouse causing mold. Is this a good bed for a little kid? I am thinking of getting the 14" because the 10" was so low to the ground and made it difficult for us to get in and out of when we lay with her.

Ordered 11/30, got it 12/9 (shipping was rescheduled for from 12/30, which I assumed and took a gamble on).

Mattress is 10". It's mad basic, no amazing foams or cooling gels, but it feels sturdy, firm and most def worth the $220 I spent. I'm 6'5: 250lb, I would sleep on it... but it wouldnt be my main.

This will be used in my airbnb above a detached garage with a Wal mart murphy bed frame that I got on slickdeal a few months ago. It fits perfectly.

Just for gloats: I'm in $700 for a full wall bed (mattress and murphy), when I was about spend $3500 between Wayfair and Mattress King. Thanks Slickdeals and WalMart!

I got the 14" King a couple days ago and slept really well on it last night. I'm a big guy and a side sleeper so I hope it holds its structure longer than some reviews indicate. I even woke up on my stomach which is usually torture for my back, but I felt fine.

Taking a while for the chemical smell to go away but pretty comfortable so far.

Any input is appreciated. My 3 year old is getting a twin bed next week and I need a mattress. I was looking at Avocado for about $500 after amex offers and such. I love this price, but how big of a difference in quality are we talking?

I got the 12 inch and put it on a Mainstays 7 inch box frame. Took about a day for the new car smell to go away. It's been very comfortable for me as a side sleeper.

If it's anything like my kid, they can have a real bed right next to them but instead sleep half on the wall, half on the floor, in a position that can only be described as "ball of spaghetti". So no, I don't think a 3yo will be complaining about which one you go with. Whatevers cheapest is the winner.

I bought firm 10inch from this ads during black Friday. I have been using it for 1 week and it is already sagging for back. I only weigh 142 pounds. Avoid this as much as possible. I have to look for options to return. get latex much better.

Received the 10 inch firm Queen last week, been sleeping on it for 3 days. The firmness is just Okay, wouldn't want any softer than the 10", overall we like it for the price, big upgrade from our old spring one. The new mattress smell was strong first couple days, now it's manageable, also researched online the smell is likely form the manufacture using VOC instead of glass.
