That fabric is their signature. None of my Kipling products have ripped/faded/zip failed in years! So many years.

I have a crossbody Kipling bag that I got on sale about a year ago. It looks decent and works well, though I wish it was canvas rather than nylon. The full price doesn't make sense to me, but it's a good buy when discounted.

Oh it seems sturdy enough, it's purely an aesthetic thing for me. I don't love the shiny-ness of it.
