  • The ultimate expression of speed on a tennis court. These adidas Adizero Ubersonic shoes support extreme lateral movements with a reinforced, lightweight mesh upper. Underneath, a responsive Lightstrike midsole and grippy Adiwear outsole combine to back up instinctive play on hard courts. Areas prone to abrasion are covered in an Adituff abrasion zone that includes recycled BOOST material so you can go all out, game after game. This shoe's upper is made with a high-performance yarn which contains at least 50% Parley Ocean Plastic - reimagined plastic waste, intercepted on remote islands, beaches, coastal communities and shorelines, preventing it from polluting our ocean. The other 50% of the yarn is recycled polyester.

I was going to give my impression as I have the ubersonic 4 but these are the ubersonic 4.1 which has some pretty significant differences. I am an ubersonic fan and have the ubersonic 2 (my favorite ubersonic),3 and 4. I also have many other Adidas tennis sneakers including the Barricade 22 with the big text on the side.

I'm confused by their sizing chart. I normally wear a 10.5 but the size chart says based on my foot size I should select a 9.5.

Check out the adidas eBay store. There is also a slickdeal post advertising the 50% extra sale. I was able to find more options on tennis shoes in size 8 for similar sale prices as the Shop Premium Outlet sales

They're designed for tennis playing. No reason why you cant also use them for light running. I use all my tennis shoes to play tennis & also play soccer on turf in them, plus casual wear. About the colors: Obv thats subjective...I was happy to see there were bright colors available..I prefer that in sneakers over bland. My guess is these colors are on sale, specifically for that reason. The 'blands' that u prefer are probably in higher demand...hence no sale.

Tennis sneakers are designed differently than running sneakers. Even though one runs when they play tennis, they are designed differently to handle the rough tennis play and will have extra stability. I never use my tennis sneakers to just run long distances. I have light weight running sneakers for that. I always say use the right tool for the job. However one can use tennis or basketball sneakers as a casual shoe if you like the style. I definitely wouldn't use a casual shoe or a running shoe for a specific sport though. You can damage the shoe and can definitely put yourself at risk for injury.
