But this is very good deal. Very very nice Jack, use these in our towing company, the most lightweight and strongest jack in its class. Very reliable.
Arcan Hybrid in green at HD is now $245 on sale: https://www.homedepot.c
I'm pretty sure this Husky hybrid is the same jack too, specs are identical: https://www.homedepot.c

Even so, I would probably be leaning towards a harbor freight jack on sale at this point. They have the extended low profile 3 ton or the non extended 3 ton or you can get the top of the line super duty jack that has zirk fittings all over.

I've been thinking of buying 2 aluminum jacks, like the deal posted here, and, combined with that HF Jack, I could do a poor man's lift. There is an independent tire shop down the road from me that does this. They use 2 jacks to lift the front of a vehicle (1 behind each front wheel) and a third jack to lift the rear from either side at the rear. They go around to pump each jack to lift it up evenly. They do not use jack stands but for myself I could then use the 4th jack to support at the jacking point middle rear to remove the jack from the side to add jack stands at the back and the middle front support to remove the side jacks up front to add jack stands. Basically &800 in jacks and it would be as fast as a lift.

Yeah it's still heavy, but it's still a lot lighter than my all steel Daytona.

It weighs 78 pounds vs the OP's hybrid Aluminum /steel which weighs 58 pounds.
If you never need to pick the jack up, all steel is probably fine. If you Do need to lift your jack and move it around, that's when you might want to spend the extra and go aluminum.
TIA for the help with my n00b question!

This mean the body of Arcan steel jack is going to be a couple inches longer also, which is part of why it weighs more.
Lots of videos on youtube. Here's a couple.

I have this jack and use a hockey puck. Works great, but sometimes it can bend weird and it worries me.
Wish I knew about this years ago.
