The deal lists "The Lord Of The Rings Deluxe Edition Hardcover – Illustrated [amazon.com]".
The LoTR edition for the set is "The Lord of the Rings Illustrated (Tolkien Illustrated Editions) [amazon.com]" which is not in the 3 for the price of 2 deal.

After some deliberation, I decided to go with the latest (book 5) Harry Potter illustrated edition, which was free on the 3 for 2 deal (with illustrated Hobbit and Silmarillion) and bought the LOTR illustrated separately.
