Can we cut the shit with the parent shaming? Just because you don't want to/can afford to spend money on kids doesn't mean others don't. UB makes universally praised quality products, and this is a sale. If you don't like it just don't click on the link. No one benefits from you coming in here and complaining.
Hypocrites everywhere. Most of these trolls own something made by Apple, Samsung, Sonos, etc. when they could buy the cheapest low quality crap instead, but somehow their luxury item purchases are justified while spending money on your child is not?

This is a super SLICK deal if using Bloomingdales.
$999.99
-$200 discount for Gregory
~25% cash back for Loyal List members ($175 cash back, but you can increase this if you just spend 1 cent more on other items)
-15% cash back via urlhasbeenblocked
I actually bought Wednesday with the 20% urlhasbeenblocked expecting they would exclude the Gregory from Power Points. But today apparently it was still included. I got my price adjustment so basically scored with the 20% cash back bonus from urlhasbeenblocked.
Bloomingdale's out of stock

Disagree, I'd rather donate an old one to someone else who potentially can't afford one. I love selling shit on OfferUp but in my case it was nice to just give it to someone. Your example you would still lose more than I did, even after I gave mine away completely free.
Yeah, it would cost you $100-200 more to have an UppaBaby vs a (much) cheaper stroller, but IMO it is worth it.
I, too, believed that buying such an expensive stroller made no sense despite multiple people recommending it to us. Got lucky, picked up an almost new Vista for $350 on CL from someone who mis-typed their contact info in the ad. Now, looking back at our experience with that Vista over the last 4+ years, and having had a chance to use several different kinds of strollers, I'd recommend Vista to anyone without hesitation (assuming they are comfortable with the initial cash outlay, of course).
It was in stock about an hour ago. I screenshotted it as I chatted with a Bloomingdales rep. Worst case was I order a new one and cancel the order but they honored it.

Great stroller. Can easily last 3 kids (per my sister-in-laws.). We have had ours 17 months and its been great. As others have stated its a one-and-done type deal.
Some are trying to compare not "needing" an $800 stroller... people don't NEED a luxury car, but plenty of folks drive them. PLENTY of other examples of this. Its a stroller, a very good stroller - don't like it... cool
I didn't call. I did online chat, but they had them in stock around 8:30pm EST. I had the screenshot ready in case they asked for proof. I was lucky I screenshotted it because shortly after the chat I was trying to show my partner how the Gregory was $799.99 and it suddenly showed OOS again. I was probably just lucky it came back seeing how other people were already talking about OOS earlier today.
What is the difference between Cruz 2 and vista 2 ?
Vista can hold 2 kids in seats whereas Cruz holds only 1. The Vista is slightly larger and heaver with bigger wheels so handles terrain a little better. While it's $300 more, it also includes the bassinet which kinda justifies that price. If you are sure you're only going to have 1 kid, then Cruz is fine, but when in doubt, Vista is a good bet. Better resell value generally with Vistas.
For anyone who is wondering, no, you don't need an Uppababy. The Chicco $300 combo stroller car seat we got worked perfect for 5 years and then we gave it away to have another life with someone else. Nothing about Uppababies are worth spending that much more on
I don't think anyone believes they NEED an uppababy stroller. Just like no one NEEDS a fancy car, an iphone, high end speakers, etc.
The Chicco system is fine and it'll serve its purpose. My sister-in-law uses it. And the Chicco KeyFit car seat is considered one of the safest car seats out there. I own the Chicco KeyFit caddy.
But I also own the Uppababy Vista V2. Comparison between the Chicco and the Uppababy is night and day. The Uppababy rolls very smoothly, has great suspension and is effortless on less smooth terrain. The Chicco has more resistance and, after just a short use, has a bit of a squeaky wheel. The Uppababy folds thinner, the Chicco does not. The Uppababy uses premium fabrics. The Uppababy comes with an overnight sleep-safe bassinet. The Uppababy warranty is considered top of the line. The Uppababy has resell value, the Chicco does not.
This may not be worth the extra money for you, but for a lot of people, it's an easy decision to go for the Uppababy.
As I mentioned earlier though, I actually think the Peg Perego Agio Z4 is better than the Vista. It's lighter, rear wheels are closer together to fit narrower spaces, it folds more easily, the basket folds really compact and I think it has more warranty. It's as pricey as the Uppababy. But it's not as popular and, as such, has no second-hand market and much lower resell value.
Bought this thinking it was perfect for our first child as it's all I saw. My sister gave me her very well used BOB stroller and now I use the UB maybe 5% of the time. Prefer it wasn't orange for my daughter but the thing rocks. Worth checking out.

I guess Vista is not the same I see now.
