Up until recently I used a similar USB monitor like this underneath my main monitor, which was a Samsung Neo G9 49" Odyssey. The Odyssey alone is basically like a triplehead setup by itself in terms of real estate, but regardless of much a single monitor has in resolution, there's something efficient / usably nice about physically separate monitors, such as window snapping (vs. software window snapping with hotspots).

A usb monitor like this fits perfectly underneath a main monitor/multi-monitor setup. The placement (i.e. below) and size I found was really nice for tertiary screens in your workflow that you want always open but almost never center of attention.

Examples of this for me were watching netflix/youtube while working, spotify, or even messaging windows of coworkers that i needed to see as soon as they msg me, but they don't necc. msg me constantly every minute.

I agree the price is way too high. Touchscreen is nice but kinda pointless in the setup I outlined above.

Think of this monitor as like a car dash. Absolutely important, but not always needed.
This is F-in cool but seems like it should be half the price based on screen size alone. I realize they aren't pumping out millions so the economy of scale (or lack thereof) is probably a large portion of the $$$. Stylus support also costs money.
Hardcore racing simulator rigs can finally have a proper rear view mirror!

I can see a lot of use for this in DIY arcade marquee like with CoinOps

But the touch screen would be pointless for such a setup.

Thanks, I think the way you described it is the way I pictured it in my head also... Can't justify a $330 spend for just that though, as much as I want to!!!
