Wow, an AMD laptop GPU. You don't see that often. Does it match/beat a 4060 Mobile?

Not really, in a few games it does but mostly it sits right below it. 7700S is a bit more comparable with the 4060.

Can you even OC AMD GPUs in laptops?

I got lucky and snagged the 7700s and 7840hs and processor for 500 open box like a year ago. bran new unit, it's a good little unit if you get it on sale. otherwise, its overpriced and go for 4060 unit instead.

Yes, but you won't get much, nor would you want to due to cooling limitations. You'd also want to be wary of the PSU supplied with the laptop, as it may not hold up well depending on the make and model.

But technically? Yes!🥵💻⚡🔥

I bought this new several months ago and love it. Battery life is a game changer compared to the other gaming laptops I've owned. I use this mostly for work (including some CAD) and a little bit of gaming. When im doing light office work it lasts over 8 hours- I rarely have to charge. It used to have some sleep/wake issues but that seems to have solved itself via updates. Definitely happy with it

I've heard the best laptop sales are near back to school shopping in August. Is this legit? Looking to get one for the wife that I deem good enough in specs for a decent price. Mostly similar to this but if I can get a better bang for my buck later I'll wait.

I have this and I love it, slick look, very fast, quiet, but it does get a little hotter than I'd like, but doesn't overheat to the point it burns me, just a little hotter than warm when put on lap. If on table, no problem at all.

AMD gpu is infinitely more simple if you're a Linux user. Nvidia is a streaming pile of shit on Linux.

I will say it is mostly false. Deals pop up all year long, especially for 1-2 year models.

I don't use its full potential either. But I did do tweaks, I disabled armory crate entirely and use g helper in lieu

This laptop has incredible battery life for a gaming laptop. You can browse the web on Wi-Fi for over 12 hours on a charge. If it's on but idle, it can last over 20 hours.

You could probably get that even higher by undervolting the CPU and iGPU, those numbers were at stock voltage.
