That would be Verizon or T-Mobile. Since they charge only $25 a month on a monthly plan, the saving is only $50 over a year or $4.16 a month. Does not seem to be much of a slick deal.

It's a fair assessment, but Verizon is the only carrier that works for me. Plus, US Mobile doesn't throttle the speed like Visible. I have been with USMobile for exactly 1 year now and the experience is super. Additional $50 saving is a plus for me.

Thanks for the catch, yes its T-mo, fixed. US mobile is already one of the lowest cost MVNO so you'll not see giant savings over their normal rates. Compare $250/yr 30GB to Slickdeals to fav Red Pocket whose normal price of $360 25GB was on sale LY for $300.

25GB plan got bumped up to 30GB mid-year. And all of it is available for hotspot. Signed up a new customer again for the 30GB plan for $300.

I'm switching from t mobile, any tips? I own my phones, so it's the best deal I can find (t mobile paid $800 for each of my phones with a port in, and then I'm leaving right away) it seems after the data is throttled, you still get 1mbps, which is better than most…. Should I go for the more expensive plan?
We've been with them for over a year and started with two phones and added a third, all on "pooled" data. I'd suggest checking each phone for how much data it uses, totaling it up and only purchasing what you need. There is no penalty for adding more data in the middle of the month.

Is this the same as Unlimited Starter $25/line/monthly?

Do they throttle it down to unusable speeds all the time or just when the network is congested?
In over a year we have never been throttled. We haven't gone over our data either. We were close to going over on Thanksgiving but I just purchased more data ($4 for 2GB).

Do you live in/around a metro or rural area?
While you're away on road, how's the US mobile service?
How's the customer service?
For the year+ that we have been using USMobile the cell service has been outstanding either in the city or out in the middle of nowhere. Probably because we are using Verizon towers through USMobile.

As for customer service, I used the chat system and they were GREAT. We had this problem with AT&T not wanting to release a phone number to be transferred to USMobile. AT&T notified me by email that it would take a week. Before I could even ask USM to do something if they could, I got an email from USM stating they were notified by AT&T about how long it was going to take and they decided to escalate the request and next thing I knew about an hour later the number was transferred.

FWIW, we have three phones with USMobile (2 on 5G and 1 on 4G). We are all on Wi-Fi except for when we drive (we do use GPS). We don't even use 2GB a month. So for unlimited talk, text, and 2GB, we pay $35 a month out the door.

Redpocket is the worst. Thought mint mobile and visible were sd favorites ?

Hey mod - can we get one of those tally voting things to name the best sders mvno pick?

I've been using US Mobile on my unlocked phone for six months now. Before I switched, I ran it up against my actual post paid Verizon service using esims and it was almost always faster.

That said, I'm sure my post paid was being throttled bc they are the same network and my plan was older.

Can someone confirm if this is recurring yearly price or Just for 1 year?

I'm so close to ditch mint mobile (after 3 years).

This is just 1 year, BF promo. Regular price is $25 a month, and you pay monthly.

I had RP and Mint before, USMobile is much better for coverage in the SF bay area. I think it is due to Verizon (USMobile) vs TMobile(RP, Mint).

Wife and I have had US Mobile (Verizon) for the last year & love it. $25/mo for unlimited talk/text with 15GB of 5G data on individual plan. Zero problems, no throttling of speed until you hit your data cap. They even offer a 50 day free trial so you can see how their service is... This cyber deal is even better at $21/mo for 30GB data (5GB Hotspot, visual VM, & wifi calling included).

No, this cyber deal gives you 30GB data instead of 15GB
