That's because this is mass gainer, not whey protein/isolate alone. It's meant to supplement the latter and should really only be used by total ectomorphs.

Surprised this post is getting more attention. This vanilla flavor was $30.59 as part of a recent FP deal (chocolate was $25.79 in it so still quite a bit less for this).
