I'm not in the market to upgrade my 65" for another year or two but if I was I'd jump all over this.

I can confirm this, I saw the same study. Makes sense, LG has been doing OLED longer, so of course they're better at mitigating burn in. DUH! 🤦🏽😂

However, the value sweet spot is the B3, not this. You're welcome.
B3 is noticeably dimmer I would hardly call that value as you're getting a far less bright tv

It's plenty bright, but like most TVs it needs to be calibrated/adjusted for the content being displayed and for the environment in which it's being used.

This or the 77" b3 at half the price. I'm coming from a 42" so think 77" and "save" the difference. The size difference will be negligible?
C3 has a better processor, brighter, and has more 2.1 HDMI ports. The B3 doesn't even hit 600 nits while the C3 hits over 800 nits. If you watch daytime TV in a bright room, get the C3.

the very nature of QD-OLED technology and associated pixels configurations makes those panels more susceptible to burn-ins.
My understanding with the Samsung is that 2nd gen qdoled is significantly more reliable and color volume far out paces any dolby vision differences. Burn in doesn't bother me much. I own an 5 year old LG oled and will upgrade to Samsung S90c soon.

The way tv screens are measured, the difference so not be negligble.
About 3053 square inches of screen on the 83" versus 2633 on the 77"
