I think the problem with the large pot maker on this is it dumps the water way too fast. It makes an entire pot in a min or two with a steady flow the entire time resulting in coffee flavored water. I don't think the water had enough time in the grounds. Great if you're in a rush each morning but not great for taste. Going back to my old Mr Coffee and will keep looking for an upgrade. The old Mr Coffee takes 10 minutes to make a pot but it drips it down slow and the result is a pot you can't see through it's so black.
