Just here to report that the $5 would not come off on the eyeshadow monos. Lucky for me, they were not a 'requirement' for my transaction to work, and I only had this one card to play around with.
They must have fixed it because I bought monos on both my card and my mom's card this morning (between 7:45 - 8:45 CST) and it worked just fine.

I did that as part of a much larger transaction. It also included the $20 get $8 EB Neutrogena deal. I made sure to have $30+ of Neutrogena in that transaction so I could submit for the J&J rebate.

Just be careful! The $3 dq wouldn't work on the $9.99 Acne dots last night.

Yes, I've seen some reports where it didn't work, and some where it did. Mine was at SCO and I just had the cashier void the eyeshadows.

I just posted this in the CVS coupon thread. It appears all stores are going to a two week ad cycle. Click on the attachment to read it.

yes I scanned that in the app and the dq didn't come up. I saw it advertised on a blog but don't think they really vetted out the deal.
The toner works but is not expensive enough at 9.49 -- not too common that you want something to be higher priced! The next cheapest item that did work was 11.79.

They probably just assumed, like I did, that it worked because it has been working the last couple of weeks. That has been my go to. Good thing is toner and a couple other items are also that same price point.

Got 10/60 on 2 cards out of 2. Could not get o with Revlon. Both on a small transaction without 10/60 and on a large transaction with 10/60. With 10/60 had to get 9.49 of Revlon for nothing to adjust down and for Revlon to count towards $60, so could have gotten another 10.11 of Revlon and counting for 10/60 and 8 ecb.
I got o yesterday on 4 cards with Revlon. I had 2 3/1 essie or revlon crts and 1 5/1 revlon crt. I did not use a 10/60 but in some cases I did use other spend amount crts (3/10 neutrogena, 4/14 H&S). I used SCO and all crts were printed.

Interesting, yesterday I was 'fishing' for $/$$ for a card I need to use a bunch of ecbs on, so I bought an item from the dollar aisle. I was shocked when I realized I got TWO $10/$70 crts on my receipt, and they have different codes!

This is the first time I recall this happening.

Lol at everybody now posting what I warned about awhile ago. cvs making a healthcare shift & eliminating deals. And they are getting rid of a lot of name brands to carry their own generic brands.

Reading Reddit, CVS is selling the change to employees as a 'you asked for it and so we're giving it to you'. Funny thing is, a manager mentioned the hours he was given were cut to what someone else pointed out was their bare minimum. I would guess they will cut hours even more, now that stores have repeatedly said hanging tags takes 3 employees 5 hours a week. Corporate will decide from this a two week ad will now save a store at least 15 hours, and the 'blade' signs instead of tagging every item will save even more time.

I have no idea how they'll sell it to customers, if they even mention it.

This is not about them caring about healthcare, this is CVS caring about how they can make more money. Wink

Oh yeah, and I noticed I now have a $5 L'Oreal Facial Care crt on my account where the original $5 L'Oreal cosmetic crt didn't work. Wink

Their "sell" to customers is that it now gives us more time to do a deal🙄

If they are gonna do 2 week ads, they could at least either make the deal limits 2 instead of 1 for the entire 2 weeks or keep it at 1 but have the deal reset for the 2nd week with another limit 1.

They simply no longer care to do the deals aspect of retailing. Other drugstores are going the same route. I mentioned a long time ago the current CEO had decided to go the healthcare route before she came aboard. It was common sense that it was only for the money since pharmacy is the money machine for them. And another reason they making almost all their employees managers.
