Their "sell" to customers is that it now gives us more time to do a deal🙄

If they are gonna do 2 week ads, they could at least either make the deal limits 2 instead of 1 for the entire 2 weeks or keep it at 1 but have the deal reset for the 2nd week with another limit 1.
CVS really doesn't care about customers, employees or healthcare. CVS cares solely about money. They can throw any other BS out there that they want to, but it is what it is.

The way I see it is I'll either adapt or do something else in the time I currently spend shopping at CVS.

I will still shop at CVS but deals will be less with the 2 weeks ads, so just will have less ECB's on the cards. Will start to learn WAGS couponing and do some more couponing at other stores. There will be other deals to be had.

@LadyD and @schnauzermomma, first, forgive me, I never have been able to figure out how to multi-quote😂
I totally agree with what both of you are saying. Clearly CVS is all about the money and Pharmacy is where the money is. I get it. They are a business and that is what businesses are supposed to do but, at what cost? It seems that they have gotten super greedy. So much so that they don't care about customers nor do they care about their own employees. It's sad.

Since crt's have gone down hill over the past year+, I never really have much ECB to begin with week-to-week & there's only so much oral care that I want lol. The past few months, I've gradually been going elsewhere, mainly Target + to a lesser extent Wags.
Was chatting with a local pal earlier - we both want food. Both our freezers are stuffed with ice cream right now - mainly from Target Ha ha
It started with Drumstick a few weeks ago, moved onto HDaaz and now this week, Oreo. I just checked - HDaaz ib is on timer now Mad - sad sad day.

Hershey's, Reese's, Almond Joy and Kit Kat FUN Size were 50%, $3.15 earlier (my brain remembered $3.99 ad-price this week)

SM told me - the company had an abundance of Reese's et al and it was going to be 50% for a while. Tag said b1g50%. I decided to just scan as I needed candy for some high school volunteers and the store had no more Halloween @ 70%. I would've preferred 70% + a $/$, but I had to work with 50% + $/$ & wasn't sure if other retailers could beat the CVS price this week.

I have gotten to the point where I scan the reddit thread for CVS on most days. The stories I read there from the employees just make me sick. The things they have to put up with are so ridiculous!

I completely agree with whoever it was that said we need to make sure to not take these changes out on our store employees. They are just as much victims of the corporate greed as we are.

And I'm honestly not bashing CVS, I really feel like so many businesses are taking advantage of the excuses of 'post covid' and 'inflation' to raise prices whether it is really necessary or not.

When there are posts you want to quote, you hit "Multi-quote" instead of "reply". Do one, then go to the next post, hit Multi-quote, on and on. Then, when you have all the posts you want to quote in one post, go to bottom left of page and hit "Reply". They should all come up in one post for you to type in your reply under each quote. Type your replies, then hit "Submit Reply". and done!

Thanks. I don't have a "Multi-quote" button. I only have Like, Reply and Report.

I seriously doubt they'll raise limits. We've had the 2-week ad here in my area for probably about 6 months and all our limits are 1. Even oral care, when the 1-week ad stores get limit 2, we get limit 1. And we get only a small fraction of the EB deals that the 1-week ad stores get. If they were to just take the regular weekly ads they have now and make them 2 weeks, that wouldn't be so bad. But that's not what they did when my area went to 2-week ads. They cut the EB deals by about 75%. For example, when the 1-week stores get Degree bogo50 and buy 2 get $4 EB, we get only bogo50, no EB. Mad

Just wishful thinking. Definitely have not liked these recent changes and not looking forward to these new changes either😩

Yes it changed so quickly & coupon fraudsters just hurried it along. There'll be more changes coming though and I don't have to read reddit to know what they are. I know before anything is ever posted there.

I just know it is sad and disappointing and, right now at least, I see no signs that there is a chance of improvement.

Not too long ago NPR ran article about how pharmacies are filling wrong prescriptions across US. A big portion was on CVS and how their pharmacists are overworked and make so many mistakes filling prescriptions. Wrong dosage, count, strength. I have never double checked my prescriptions in the past, just assumed it was what it was supposed to be. Not any more. One thing I have noticed around here now is all CVS pharmacists, pharmacy managers are all Chinese.

They are ridiculously overworked in the pharmacy, I wouldn't be surprised if they are making lots of mistakes. I've also read of pharmacy employees shorting prescriptions by a few pills and pocketing the missing pills. I haven't had my prescriptions at CVS in close to 10 years.

The thing that I hate the most is that you can't just go into the store and shop anymore. You have to do all of this prep like loading digital coupons. There isn't even a paper ad to look at when you get there and the current price tags aren't always up. If you don't have your phone with you, you might as well go home. I was in Ralphs yesterday. I wanted to get two things. I loaded the digital coupons. I got one of each item although the limit was 5. I went to the SCO but the digital coupons didn't come off. I asked the cashier if she could help me but she said that if the coupons don't come off there was nothing that she could do. She reluctantly went to ask the manager but he said no. I left without getting anything. I don't like being treated like a criminal. They assumed that I was trying to beat the limit rather than just buying the product. I should've just walked out with the stuff. There's nothing they could've done about it. What a crazy world that we live in. Loyalty cards are such a bad idea. Ralphs doesn't need to know all of this information about me in order to make a $5 purchase. CVS is actually much nicer than Ralphs. My CVS would've found a way for me to get my items so unfortunately things can get worse at CVS. They can turn into Ralphs. Ralphs used to be such a fun store to shop at before Kroger bought them.
