For the 3rd gen 2010-2015 Prius owners, these are listed as an acceptable alternative size on the Discount Tire website. Only results in a 2% odometer difference.

What a deal! Can't use em myself, but wow! The Yoko Avid is a very good tire, too.

Damn don't fit my 2012 Accord. Good price though!
Get some steel wheels and slap these babies on them.

These are a pretty old tire design from Yokohama as Tire Rack has an old review back from 2010 that says they're not as good as some other tires the wet. They're still probably better than most no-name Chinese tire brands and insanely cheaper than them too. Would have been great on my dad's old Corolla that he just got tires changed on a month ago as they take 195/65R15 so this is only a hair smaller.

How are they on wet roads in the rain?
Had the 195 version on the Corolla. During heavy rain, I limit speed to about 50 mph. No problem. There are three key factors that can affect hydroplane...speed of vehicle, weight of vehicle, and depth of water. You can control your speed. The driver in front will warn you about deep water. Always maintain plenty of stopping distance during heavy rain.

FYI for those going smaller - here in Pennsylvania, you *will not* pass inspection if you go smaller than the manufacturer's recommended size. Failed my daughter's 2010 Forrester a few months ago for this very reason. I know not all states do yearly inspections but wanted to give a heads-up to anyone else out here in PA.
- My fiance had scored 4 almost new from a salvage yard but one size down. Nope.
You can go BIGGER (yay, Pennsyltucky 🤣) but not SMALLER.

Anecdotally, from my experience, I'd say good. If you go to the website there is a lot more info about the tire specific to how it performs in different conditions, which you can use to compare to your current tires.

Yoko improved the design. My old set was rated at 44 psi cold. This lot has 51 psi label, which requires significantly stronger sidewall to handle higher pressure.

Corollas have been around for decades, but they don't have the same performance level.

So the nanny state failed your car because the 1 cm narrower rubber reduced lateral grip by 0.03 G? Don't feel bad. I still have to pass smog inspection with my 1986 Mazda 626. And scum bag CA lowers the pass threshold every other year.

Wow what a deal.

I'm going to switch from 195/55R15 to this 185/65R15 and roll the dice.

Lol 10% difference in diameter (going bigger). Let's see how it rolls on a '98 Integra.
Make sure the additional height does not interfere with suspension components.

My 2012 Fusion has 225/50-R17 tires.
These Yokohama won't work, right?
