For the 3rd gen 2010-2015 Prius owners, these are listed as an acceptable alternative size on the Discount Tire website. Only results in a 2% odometer difference.

What a deal! Can't use em myself, but wow! The Yoko Avid is a very good tire, too.

Going from 195 50 15 to these, on a Mirage hatch, works?

2 sites loosely say it will work, just taller walla and touch more narrow width.

Don't care... if it will fit at these prices.

I work as a parts manager for a Hyundai dealership and can confirm that this size can work on CERTAIN MODELS (mainly base models) of Hyundai Elantras, Accents and Venue's if anyone has any. Hope this helps someone.

Is it used tire or brand new?

New. No install, expect $100-130 extra to install at your local tire shop

Cancelled my Walmart Goodyear 185 65 R15 order ($56 each) and placed order on DT direct. Versa takes the exact same tire. What a coincidence. Hopefully it ships.

Measure the current clearance from your tire to any suspension part. If there is sufficient clearance when you add the new tire, then your odometer reading will be off (confirm with your phone's driving GPS), and your engine will work a little harder during take-off. Handling may suffer slightly but you can compensate by running 46 psi cold. Accurate tire balance is the key to low noise and no vibration.

Does anyone know if this fits 2016 corolla le? I visited the page and added the car and says it doesn't fit, but I refreshed the page with the car selected and it says it fits... even though the tire is a little smaller

In for a set for my Camry.
How much would a place charge to install, balance and full alignment usually?

Would townfair or other local tire places price match?

Great deal if it's compatible with your car.

Sadly my front brake rotors are 15.5" and these tires won't clear them.

Out of all the Yokohama Avid tires, these are the worst, but monster deal. Almost free.

These are probably made here in the USA too.🇺🇸
You have a wrapped sense of what almost free is.

Lots of complaints about the tires wearing out fast and less grip during rain. I wouldn't do it.

Keep in mind you can safely fit slightly wider and narrower tires (e.g. 195 vs 185) into most rims.

Also, look up EU/JP specs for the same car.

E.g. In Japan, maybe they fit a 175 as standard to reduce gas consumption, but in usa 185 is more popular and common.

This means you'll likely be able to fit 175 and 185 just fine (assuming same inch diameter stock rims).
Thanks for your explanation. I got the 2015 Prius (195-65-15) and I didn't exactly feel confident about having 185. That said I tried wider tires on a motorcycle before; just not on a car

But I went around it by going to Discount Tires directly.
Showing $100 per tire, when I go to checkout, it shows that price minus $110 for signing up. Am I doing something wrong?
