There's not much risk going with this charging dock. It's Insignia, a house brand of Best Buy. Their products are of a decent quality and much better than a random named Chinese product off Amazon.

Love the off brand name ones with the detachable usb c charger adapters. Makes it so you can easily use them with other controllers, as well. This one is good if you only intend to use it for PS5.

I prefer these over the official ones -- my official one died shortly after the warranty and I've had 2 of these for a year and a half without issue.

It's been a long time since I've used the official ones but from what I can remember it's way easier to charge controllers on these as well

DO any of these products automatically sync the controller back to the PS5 after using the dualsense remote w/ another bluetooth connection i.e. Ipad, PC, etc
