Fyi both avatars are about to be rereleased on disc with Dolby Vision. This deal is not that.
This "Disney 100" Star Wars steelbook art is awful. 90% just unpainted brushed metal with very little printing.
Screw Disney, they want me to buy the same movie multiple times?

Wakanda Forever - Talokan artwork looks vibrant and stunning, better than the Wakanda version, IMO.

While it's great to see this creativity, I feel that corporations are wringing every possible penny from customers in the name of collectibles. Different versions and artwork for the same movie, different versions of Funko Pops for the same character - and there are multiple characters in an IP. I feel like the fun in collecting these has been negatively impacted due to this one dilution.

Agreed. I didn't have a 4k copy yet so I went for the Talokan version. For $20 it was a must have.

They need to officially release a de-specialized edition

I own all the real 3 Star Wars movies (2 bucks each at a flea market, actually it was a 6 pack with prequels but they don't count). But I'd rather watch the despecialized versions I got "elsewhere". Highly recommended.

They're fine, and of course better than Lucas' Special EDs, but they still have the feel of an unfinished movie. Disney needs to do this officially and take my money.

I have no idea what you mean by unfinished film. I watched them on a 120" screen with a hd projector with someone who's never seen them and she loved them. Of course I've seen them multiple times over the years and I thought they were perfect. Maybe you saw something different. 🤷

The Despecialized editions I have quite obviously switch between the Special ED Blu-ray edition, the 2004 DVD unedited mono audio edition, and the laserdisc editions. It's a fan produced product, always has been. It's okay, but it's not right.

My comment is that ILM is the best special effects company in the world, and should do this right…..officially. And make money on it.

Agreed.
Disney gets a lot wrong. SD will censor facts so I'll leave it at that.
