Thanks; I'll add that to my monthly S&S haul and hope something superior comes up before the cancellation window closes.

It seems like AAA deals are significantly rarer than AA. Hoping something crazy like a 100 pack of AAA of Amazon Basics become available before the S&S deadline but I'm running really low on AAA and will get this Energizer bargain if I have to...

Nope. It's cheap Chinese crap and name brands are fake half the time, too, on Amazon.
Amazon basics will initially release quality stuff, then sell you garbage once the reviews have flowed in.

Never buy batteries and certain car parts on scamazon. There's so much counterfeit stuff it's insane.

But that's the plan. Undercut all these guys and use your giant, dominant online presence as leverage. When these other manufacturers disappear, what do you will happen to the price of Amazon Basic stuff? I'm not just talking about AA batteries.

Pretty sure Amazon puts all inventory in the same bin regardless of seller. Therefore, counterfeit/fake items can easily get mixed in with genuine.

These are garbage. Bought multiple boxes of them not knowing. Don't buy the Energizer batteries that look like this
