one thing i wanted to update on my cpu is cooking litterally… 100c while playing skylines 2 at times… fans on high doesnt really stop it.. thinkin of redoing thermal paste or flat out get a new cooler but wanted to see if yall are experiencing high temps during gamin?
I still have more testing to do, but so far I have only seen 80-81c during heavy gaming.

Mine arrived damaged. Front glass is shattered with a noticeable impact point but not a scratch on the box. It's like they were shipped damaged.
Very unfortunate

Was never prompted for a license when I did it. There is a way to determine the license key from cmd prompt, google should get you that info. I saved it just in case. On my fresh install using a usb it did not recognize the disk driver. So make sure you have the IRST driver on the same usb as well and then you load it when it asks for it.

Started setting this up last night. It's running miserably slow, does anyone have an idea of what could be causing this?
I've spent multiple hours every night with this stupid thing trying to troubleshoot and nothing has worked. Can't get more than 20frames in a game and it runs like shit. Seems like there are a lot of duds they shipped out. Really frustrating & unfortunate.

I've ordered 2 other computers from them and had no issues. Not buying anything from them after this shitty experience.

Mine hits 100C in a heavy benchmark in a few minutes.
Perhaps cleaning and re-applying thermal paste would be needed?
GPU keeps nice 60-70C running benchmarks.

Mine wouldn't power on, it appears to be a problem with the mother board. I called and I'll be shipping it back to acer to be repaired, (if it's still trash I'll then return it for a full refund)

Mine arrived this week with a beat up box and after reading others' comments, expected the worst. However, it ended up being in perfect condition, except some dirt on the mouse. So far has handled everything thrown at it with no issues. Only downside has been navigating Windows 11, which i had no clue they had changed around this much.

Well strike one for Acer refurbished....I ordered the other refurb computer with the 3070 last week (the deal I posted) and it arrived on Saturday. Got home yesterday and the plain brown box looked rough. Opened it up to find a shattered glass front plate with glass pieces inside the unit and box. The inflatable packing holders had zero air and the keyboard and mouse also looked used. To top it off the computer was covered completely in dust.....I have had other refurbished products from other companies and you would never know it was a refurb and looked brand new. This was clearly a return and repack. I started a return with ebay and they sent me the label to send it back. There will be nothing left when they receive it back but o well. Ordered another one and am going to try again.
Applause I just got the 2nd package today. Box is fine and this time it was packed with a foam protector on the top and bottom. It actually has the original or new plastic glass coverings on the front and side still. Everything looks fine on the inside. It powered up normal, is whisper quiet, and ran a benchmark with the stats below. It is a 12700F but o well. Overall I am happy I gave them a second chance especially getting this package at $836.73 to my door. Hopefully I won't need to use the 2 year warranty. Praying you all get a good one!

The CPU is 12700F not 12700 for mine. Not going to use iGPU anyway, it's just different from described.
Just received yesterday. Everything in good shape but same for me on cpu. However, I need the iGPU for intel quicksync. Calling Acer on Monday but not expecting any happy resolution.
