"I hope you are doing well. Thank you for placing your order with us. While processing your order we got to know that 'Garmin fenix 7X Pro Sapphire Solar - Carbon Gray DLC Titanium w/Black Band' got double discounted because of some technical error. The item was supposed to be available at a sale price of $779.99 but because of some technical glitch/discount coupon, the price went down to $702.00.
Unfortunately, margins are low on these and with the extra discount, it will be difficult for us to cover the cost. Therefore, I just wanted to check if you could please pay us the remaining amount of $77.99 so that we can cover the cost and get it shipped to you.
Please let me know and I will send you the invoice for the price difference.
Sorry for the inconvenience,
Andrew"
Afterward I checked the previous deal thread and several people had the same exact email word for word, but one person still had the deal honored despite receiving that email. I'm sure Tacoma Bike is a great company but I don't understand how they still have the technical error on their site for 18 days minimum. If you buy this then they may ask you, like they did me and apparently several others, to pay the difference. You may get it honored, you may not, as on that thread.
I just asked them to cancel my order because if they really are operating on that low of a margin I don't want to rip them off, but I also was intending on paying the price that was displayed on their website and on the original invoice. Feels like a bait and switch.
