Great specs for the price on a $120 budget phone.
Feels very high end in the hand with faux leather back.
Bought one for my 11 year old as a first phone. Its running all her games smoothly.
Works well on T-Mobiles 5g network.
Seems to get quarterly Android security updates, most recent being Sept 2023.

So what? It's a budget phone, not an MRI machine. It's getting regular security updates. People who live within their means aren't always concerned about having the latest and greatest of everything.

Ok but why didn't you include that it's Android 11 in the description...

I mean you can always game the offer systems. Say get metro pcs phone like N30 for $60 and leave it in drawer for 6 mos and you get a free phone. Either way the phone is awesome for its price. BLU is a notorious for low end products, I suspect its a white label alibab product

I agree with you, but one can also click on the link to read more on the specifications.
One could do that, but personally I don't go around clicking every link. It's bad form to leave out the negatives and only mention the positives when posting a deal. Give the whole picture.
Like OP didn't even mention this was a BLU phone, I had to read that in the other comment. The price here is not slick at all for Blu phones. Most of them are under $100.

I guess you have never had your bank account, email, credit cards hacked yet. Don't worry, it will probably happen one day.
Don't get me wrong, I like BLU as a first phone for a kid and their Bold line phones are great (personally hate curved glass) but it great phone, just to bad it is stuck on Android 11.
But this is the problem IMHO, "at least two years of Android security updates." per BOLD. Release date of this phone is 2022, August 11. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.
I think there are better deals out their that will give you Android 13 AND years more of updates. It will most likely not have all the bells and whistles of this phone.

This price is slick, you are wrong.
Original retail price a little over a year ago was $250... so it is now half price. Realize that this is not a Samsung phone that gets marked up a few hundred percent, this phone is like a TJMaxx phone... the original price is already a great price.
Just based on update longevity and current version of Android. I think the phone to get is the Pixel 6a. Just my two cents.
But there is a lot good about the bold N2. As mentioned it feels like a highend phone, but it ultimately fails and can not compete where it may count the most... updates and android version.

So you have not had your bank account hacked yet? It sounds like you are a lucky person. Luck only last so long.
When you do get hacked, I think you will completely have a change of mind.
I've.worked in IT security for 25+ years.
My DD is still Android 11.
Stop trolling. Running a phone OS that is 3 years old is not the reason that you are going to get hacked.

I hate curved screen with a passion, but it's very rare to see for a budget phone. Same with in display finger print reader.
