I have this and it works great but it's regularly at this price. I paid $52.47 for it in July.

These cyber Monday and Black Friday sales have mostly all been scams.

How is this for bald head shaving? I use a 3000. It takes multiple passes through so not too close a buzz. Is a 7000 a closer shave or not much difference?

Correction: It was used! It wasn't cleaned very well. The rubber power button looks very pressed from many multiple uses. You just know with the many telltale signs. Even the charger is dirty.
Check out the product reviews on Amazon. Philips has been doing this and it's disgusting!

followup. i received this in the mail. hundred times better than the one mentioned. it cuts through hair like a real trimmer. super happy with it.

I think mine is. I received it in a box that doesn't look like the original. Didn't open it and bought the smaller $20 groomer instead. After thinking about it, I'd rather have something small and light when cutting around my groin.

Just received mine. The item is in a ordinary brown box with a green sticker taping the box shut.
The items inside look new with protective tape on shaver side and paper protector under trimmer head. A new extra head is included. Maybe I'll keep it.

personally I just use my wahl that cost me $25 and I've had it for 5+ years. Other than that just a bic razor that cost me $8 for 12 heads. This seems expensive to me but hey I'm cheap.
