Yes. You can. Add that to the walmart app and u can simply scan during the checkout.

I tried this yesterday. Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market, in-store, self-checkout. Opened PayPal app, got my PayPal pay with QR Code, tried to scan it into the Walmart register but found no way to do that. Just scanning the QR code with the barcode scanner did not work, neither did the hand-help scanner. There were no relevant buttons/UI options on the main screen nor the smaller credit card scanner machine. I do remember seeing something Paypal-related in the WalMart register UI a few YEARS ago but not with this newer checkout system that Wal-Mart implemented a year or two ago.
I don't know if you saw my later post in this thread ^ but I cannot get PayPal to scan at my local Wal-Mart. Any suggestions? TIA

Looks like BofA card 3% cashback caps out at $2500, thereafter it's 1%. PayPal card has no cap on 3% cashback.
oh.. no cap. LOL..

I think that may have sold me on this card. Have to look at all my paypal transactions in total yearly.

Sorry that you had trouble using the QR code. Have you checked it in the regular checkout lanes? I have not used PayPal QR at Walmart but I have used it at CVS in regular checkout and the people at the register were able to scan the QR code using the handheld product barcode scanner. I will check it out myself at Walmart this weekend Smilie

PayPal has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with, credit card or otherwise.

AMEX Blue Cash Everyday has 3% for online retail, 3% gas, and 3% groceries. 1% elsewhere. No annual fee. I use this for most purchases and then a 1.5% card for non-online retail, gas, and groceries. Use Chase and Discover for revolving 5% categories.

damn. thats alot for a water bill. even with my pool cleaning. my bill is alot below that. thats included trash too.

thanks for doing the math for us. i will check my fee the next time and compare. but then. my bill is much smaller than yours though.
That's about what our water bill is (in Oregon), but we are billed every two months and it includes sewer which is most of it.

Best overall card for cash back. Have used for two years.

Problem is they cap my credit limit at $1000, so I can't put more than $2k worth of purchases in it a month. ($720 back annually)

They said the limit would raise automatically, but I sense they cap it because PayPal loses money on the cash back.

Wow that is way too limited. I was scratching my head wondering why people are saying about limitation. I was thinking the cash back but it is says no cap. Makes sense now

This BofA card is better in every way, and gives 3 percent off on all online purchases, not just eBay. $200 sign up bonus too.

https://www.bankofamerica.com/cre...edit-card/ [bankofamerica.com]

Online shopping, including cable, internet, phone plans and streaming 3% cash back

Automatic 2% cash back at grocery stores and wholesale clubs
I thought about adding this PayPal card but it wouldn't get much use. It would be more valuable to me if I didn't already have several 2% back cards. I can usually get better than 3% cash back with other cards closer to 5% so the 3% isn't all that appealing and I also already have that BoA card too. My Chase Freedom and Discover It usually get me a quarter a year with 5% cash back on PayPal.

If and when I get $200 cashback for $1000 spend, I'm in. Let me know when that happens.

Anyone know if it is 3% on things purchased from people with goods and services and not from stores?

The limit is based on your income. And it will automatically go up over time. I was started at a 10k limit and over the course of a year it's been raised to 13k. All depends on income and use.

If you pay using the PayPal app, then it's 3% back. I use it often for sites that accept PayPal directly, like eBay and other online sites. If you use it as an actual credit card, then it's just 2%, like at a store or restaurant.

I've had this card for awhile, and as others have stated, customer service utterly stinks. Also, trying to sync to Quicken is a nightmare. Sometimes the transactions appear in the PayPal account as debit and credit from or to the credit card account, and other times the debit only appears in the credit card account. I'm constantly deleting duplicate transactions!

BTW, this is not a slickdeal; it's an advertisement on the site.

This is a fantastic card. One of the things I love is the easy of use and interface. A lof of bank websites are just awful and clunky. This card is so simple. The cash back hits your account super quick and you can instantly redeem it to your paypal balance and then instantly use it to pay back down your credit card.

It works fantastic and the 2/3% is great value too.

is there a limit for the 2/3% or you get that back no matter how much you spend?
