The deals tend to be decent, but it's a huge roll of the dice whether or not you get what you ordered and in the condition it is advertised in.
Buyer beware.
However, sometimes size matters. I find myself hesitant to bring my big full frame with me on trips that may or may not have a lot of shooting opportunities. And I'll be more likely to bring it if it's just half the size and weight.

I have the Canon 5D Mark II, coupled with the 24-105 L lens, a hefty investment that set me back over $3,000. Picture this—it was a whopping 15 years ago when this technological marvel first graced the market. The camera boasted stellar image quality and a plethora of features, but as time marched on, I found myself reaching for it less and less.
Fast forward to late last year, a time when I decided to rekindle my passion for digital photography with a new set of requirements in mind. The need for network features, particularly for online meetings on my PC, led me to explore a more contemporary option. Enter the Canon EOS SL2, joined by the DO 70-300 lens, a combination totaling around $600(2nd hand from eBay). Notably, the SL2 body is approximately 60% less weight than its 5D Mark II counterpart, and the DO lens, though smaller and lighter, to the 70-200 L4 or the 75-300 lens.,still manages to pack a punch considering the balance of cost and quality, portability
It's worth noting that the SL2 features a smaller APS-C size sensor, unlike the full-frame sensor of the 5D Mark II. Interestingly, I've found myself reaching for the SL2 more frequently, capturing a significant number of pictures within just one year—about 30% of the total shots the 5D managed in the past 15 years. The reason? A delicate balance between portability and image quality.
Now, my curiosity has led me to consider the Olympus four-thirds sensor camera for a new photographic adventure. Here's why:
Having traveled with my Pentax K-1, I can firmly say getting a smaller camera to fly overseas and walk around the city is strongly recommended, even if you still want the flexibility of changing some lenses.

I was considering this deal too, but ultimately decided to go for a EM1 Mk2 from Map Camera (Japan) used for about $450 (in a near-mint state though it said Excellent), and spend the difference on lenses. OM-1 will be a great update, but since I'm switching systems (from Pentax), lenses are highest on the list.

I was considering the same thing as you did, I missed a great offer from them of the mark ii, guess you were the lucky one ( joke). i heard lots good words regarding use this m43 system doing micro and super telescope shooting, i was considering 3 lens, 60mm micro(also from newegg), 12-200mm(bought from japan), 100-400mm is (may wait before next trip), i'm still want keep some Canon gear for now, at least Canon battery management are much better than Olympus.
