This is a good price, I think the 6 packs are like $12 in Costco stores and $15 online - this is a 12 pack for $15. Never had this flavor, but in for a try at this price.

I did have to laugh at the "sustainability" icon on the Amazon listing. Nothing says sustainable like precooked rice, packaged individually and shipped to your door!

If it's a full meal that doesn't seem like too much. A full pouch contain 30% of your daily carbohydrates intake, but accompanied by 25% of your recommended fiber intake. That number is fine in that context.

Carbohydrates are Carbs... that's how it goes. If you sit all day, expect to get fat tissue. They are meant for long term usage of course, backup calories. That being said, these are more 'Healthy" carbs over just white flour or sugar carbs.

I will state that on the last deal of a 12 pack I got 1 from the warehouse, and Amazon live chat just decided to give me 1 for $3.50, which is total BS considering it was for 12. Be sure to watch out for that. For $3.50 each, it was not that great, as expected from a microwaved bag. Applause I'd give them $1.25 from dollar tree though

When they say brown rice is slow carbs, they are referring to the speed that your body turns those carbs into sugar. Since the more refined grains are, the quicker that process happens, causing a blood sugar spike. It's important if you have diabetes.

Odd, anytime I get an incorrect quantity, they just refund my order and tell me to keep it. I've done it at least like 40 times at Amazon and always got a full refund.
