According to this spec sheet ( https://storage-asset.msi.com/exc...-080US.pdf ), the motherboard in this prebuilt is the PRO B760-VC WIFI. This motherboard has 4 dimm slots, so if you wish to add 2 more sticks to run in a 4 dimm configuration (more stressful on the cpu memory controller, as it remains dual channel), you can. The motherboard's spec page: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/P...cification

This beats every non-refurbished deal available over black Friday and cyber Monday by a decent amount. If you need a new mid-tier gaming prebuilt, and are only willing to purchase in new condition, this is probably the best deal you'll see for quite a while.

32GB unless serious video editing, VMs, 3D modelling, simulation, machine learning, etc.

Otherwise, check to confirm 64 GB is supported on this motherboad.

EDIT: Wow! "Maximum RAM Supported: 192 GB" !!

The fact that Walmart won't allow customers to get the price difference has me worried (those who bought it at a higher price).

Funny thing is that the Skytech that was the previous killer deal that just got topped by this one just went OOS. I bought it earlier and just initiated a cancellation on it, so obviously if it doesn't ship, it'll come back in stock.

But going back to Walmart not allowing the credit, that will force customers to return the PC. Now I don't know what they are going to do with those returns... re-selling them back again? Do they open it and check for all internal parts are there, before putting them back in stock?

I think we should all inspect them carefully once they arrive. Who knows how many times they exchanged hands.

I don't think that's an issue for us on the first run this week. I might be concerned about later sales. But you could have a point. A resealed box should be pretty easily spotted.

That being said, I will have two unopened going back. This one I ordered yesterday and the Skytech ordered last week.

Anyone notice a change in delivery date after going to checkout? I placed an order earlier tonight...in the cart, it said 12/1 delivery, but when I went to checkout, it changed to 12/5. In my purchase history, it still said 12/5. I just put another in my cart to test and it said 12/1 delivery, but it stayed 12/1 in checkout. I ended up ordering a second one, and cancelling the earlier order with the later delivery date. But I probably put myself at the back of the line if Walmart fulfillment is logical.

Thoughts on this deal over the G15 deal the other day? Ryzen 7 7840, rtx 4050, 16 gb, 512. My total cost the Dell Amex promo was 640.00 total.
ryzen 7840? what the hell is that? rtx 4050? If you mean rtx 4060, and a ryzen 7600 or above, just keep it, those are better, spend the extra 50 you saved on more hardrive space when you need it.

I bought the CyberpowerPc for $600 in the link below.

I guess the major difference is the cyberpowerpc has the 3060 12gb and the msi has the 4060 8gb card.

Is this MSI worth the extra $100??

https://slickdeals.net/share/iphone_app/fp/892834
keep the cyberpowerpc, the 3060 12 gb is better.

Bought two days ago for 799. Chatted with support for five minutes, and they instantly refunded the $100 to honor the $699 price.
