According to this spec sheet ( https://storage-asset.msi.com/exc...-080US.pdf ), the motherboard in this prebuilt is the PRO B760-VC WIFI. This motherboard has 4 dimm slots, so if you wish to add 2 more sticks to run in a 4 dimm configuration (more stressful on the cpu memory controller, as it remains dual channel), you can. Depends. If you want to upgrade later on then skip the dell. They sometimes have a proprietary power supply connection on the motherboard which will handicap you down the line. The smaller form factors on their cases can also keep you from putting in gpu's later on. That dell also has only 8 gigs of memory and half the hard drive space, keep that in mind.

How are these computers? Can you turn off the lights? My parents need a computer, a desktop and for some reason they refuse to get a refurb Dell which is my usual go to since it still has a decent warranty. I'll get an optioned or precision for really cheap on their sales but my stepdad refuses despite them not having a lot of money, my attempts to save them money have not worked.
