According to this spec sheet ( https://storage-asset.msi.com/exc...-080US.pdf ), the motherboard in this prebuilt is the PRO B760-VC WIFI. This motherboard has 4 dimm slots, so if you wish to add 2 more sticks to run in a 4 dimm configuration (more stressful on the cpu memory controller, as it remains dual channel), you can. This beats every non-refurbished deal available over black Friday and cyber Monday by a decent amount. If you need a new mid-tier gaming prebuilt, and are only willing to purchase in new condition, this is probably the best deal you'll see for quite a while.

If the specs match what is on MSI's website (which I expect them to), then yes. You can go to i7 & 4070 with the PSU @ 650W.

In fact, you could upgrade to i7-14xxx series CPU if you wanted since it uses the same socket (LGA1700).

We'll have to wait and see if the 15 series Intel processors will continue to use the same socket (idk if they've announced that yet).

Yeah, like I mentioned in previous comments, WM fulfillment is really random. I ordered earlier yesterday and had a Dec 5 delivery date. Tried again 2 hours later and it was a Dec 1 delivery date, so I cancelled my earlier order. That reminded me that one of the last times I've done a pre-order from WM.com (non-computer item), many people who ordered the same item weeks later (and even after the item was released) were saying they got their orders, while many people who pre-ordered didn't have theirs shipped until weeks after the late purchasers. So in short, I don't think they're trying to purposely screw you by not allowing you to cancel...I just think their order fulfillment is garbage.

Agreed, $175 for a 4070 over a 4060 is a good deal. Only concern I'd have with the 45L is the cooling, but if it's water cooled (is it the CPU & GPU, or CPU only?), I'd expect you're fine. Even if you have to drop $75 for a new case, assuming HP uses a standard mobo on the 45L, IMO, you're still ahead.

I'm literally laughing with tears. Bought it from walmart and expect the delivery tomorrow. Before that, I bought the similar MSI model with slightly lower speed of 12400F from bestbuy. Now re-ordering because of the new discount from walmart, with an updated delivery 4 days after. and need to return two unopened desktop computers to where they were from. I'm sick and tired of these merchant games in holiday seasons.(not entirely true)
