Still bummed about missing out on the earlier deal where I could have snagged this for $33, seven dollars less
...
There's a $10 coupon you clip which gets applied immediately bringing you down to the $40 price so no rebates involved
If you're an amazon prime member I don't know if you'd prefer to wait for better deals to turn up on this which have been reserved for amazon prime members only

I know there was a similar deal in the past for $40 but you had to fill in a rebate

Worth pointing out a few things.. this is the white colored one, for some odd reason the black colored one is more expensive (you'd think they'd give the same deal for both - maybe less demand for the white plastic housing type fans?)
I've done some research into the RGB controller that comes with the fans which seems to do a decent enough job according to what I've seen online... do make sure that your motherboard has the right type of RGB header if you want to plug it in that way (there are two different kinds) or if you use the controller apparently as long as you have a usb 2.0 port free on your motherboard (best to open up your PC case and look to be on the safe side) and an extra sata power cable to plug into the controller it should apparently work fine to control the RGB lighting if you go that route too.
There are youtube videos if you're a newb like me
that talk about how to install the fans and use the included rgb controller like this one

the amazon description does not make it clear but apparently the controller is magnetic so despite the button on it you can press for limited RGB lighting control don't be stupid like me
and assume that the controller HAS to be outside of the case.. you can use it's magnetic properties to just "stick" it into an appropriate part of the case when youre considering whether to buy this or not (I'm guessing as far as you can get from the motherboards and hard drives would be good , total conjuncture on my part though) and it will stay there.
And of course hang onto all the packaging that came with this in case a better deal comes along so you can buy that and return these fans instead

do bear in mind that if you want to hook other non coolermaster case fans to the included rgb controller in theory you can do that but no idea if coolermaster made it proprietary such that other brand's cables will not fit into the controller (total conjuncture on my part I admit)
Also your luck may vary as far as using other brand fans and being able to use the coolermaster RGB program that controls lighting to control coolermaster fans too (you could just use each fan manufacturer's "approved" rgb control program for that particular set of fans but then of course fan lighting will not be in sync) .. it's possible that the RGB program included with your motherboard (certain asus models for example) might be able to control all the rgb lighting too though I've heard the required asus armory crate is a nightmare that should be avoided.
