Some users (myself included) had their subscription status get "lost" in this transition they had. Instead of attempting to do right by their customers and reaching out to those impacted, they just sat back and did nothing unless people reached out to them. I was able to log in but couldn't use the service. When I logged in it didn't have any information about my lifetime subscription. I had to go back through my emails and statements to try and find my payment receipt for the lifetime subscription. It was pretty hard to find too because there was no email from them of a confirmation of the purchase. Not sure how it shows up on a bill now but back when I bought it, the payment was processed through some weird biller company name. So it was really hard to find when searching because the receipt said nothing about VPN or FastestVPN. It was only the total and the weird billing company name. Had I not remembered about this coming from some odd name, I doubt I would have ever found the receipt and knew that's what it was for. Finally after all this and proving to them that I indeed paid for it, they finally gave me back my lifetime subscription.
I'm really don't know if things have gotten any better because I was lucky enough to get the lifetime subscription to Windscribe back in the day so I barely ever use this one. So things may be much better now but just be careful.
But typically it's so slow it's not even worth using. I'm sure a fake user or employee/shill acct will come in to say how I used it wrong or some crap or defend the company in some way. But @$30 for life, if it sounds too good to be true, it is.
Thanks OP and repped!

Mine was "lost"...lifetime from the original skickdeal post years ago. They were very responsive on email or chat and helped me recover it.
I rarely use it. seems to work ok for phone browsing but anytime I tried to use on firestick for streaming it constantly drops connection.
