Only small negative I see if I'm reading correctly, is the not-so obvious error codes. Just means you need to keep the booklet so you can translate if they're not all immediately intuitive to you. Or you Google them

You don't need to know many error codes btw. Attach the battery clamps' cable connector to the jump pack, attach the positive battery clamp, attach the negative, and you should be good to go to start. If your battery is COMPLETELY dead, the pack will think something is wrong so you'll need to hit the boost button to put the pack into dumb mode (no voltage or polarity testing). Other than that, these are pretty straightforward devices.
I've had a d b power (SD keeps blocking this name), have a few Gooloo, and even had a Besttech (sp?) at one point. The dB power was good but died after 3 years, the Besttech was a little underpowered but was when these first came out, and I keep having to give away or sell my Gooloo ones because people want them after I give them a jump. I currently have a 1500A Gooloo that is 3yo and works fine. I think it was $65 when I bought it. There's a 4yo 600A Gooloo in my wife's car which is still plenty of power to start a modern gas engine, especially a 4cyl.
