I know there's usually a lot of doubt on the CPS warranty but I used mine recently for accidental damage. My son destroyed the screen on our 48c1 and they asked for pictures to confirm then sent me a check. Took about 2 weeks from filing the claim to getting the check. I also happen to have a spare stand for these now lol.

Lol. This isn't entry level.

I've purchased LG OLED from Sam's club that was a store display without the stand.
Sam's sold it as new. I just reached out to LG support and they shipped the stand for free after uploading the receipt.
This is good to know. Thanks.

Tempting. Could someone tell me why the C2 is that much better? I'm just looking for something that has a 120. hertz screen for an Xbox Series X.. I would even take the B1 if it were cheaper.
Honestly it's just people being picky. The only major difference to the C2 is the stand being lighter which you don't even get here. I got a C1 one year ago, the TV is amazing and the 2 year warranty is fine with this being that price. Amazing TV for this price.

There has not been a ton of improvement over the years on the C models, so to most people there probably won't be much difference between a C1, C2, or C3.

In 2021, there were 6 OLEDs available and this was in the second-to-best tier. I don't think entry level is an accurate description.

Best to worst by market position:
G1
C1~A90J
B1~A80J
A1
I think this is slightly off, at least based on performance and pricing at the time. I do agree the C1 is mid tier and not entry level.

G1 = A90J
C1 = A80J
B1 had no OLED equivalent competitor in the US.

I don't like buying refurbished anything, especially electronics. Pass for me, but I hope it works great for anyone buying.

I have both a C1 and C2 in my home, I can't tell the difference.

Pay no attention to the guy saying it's entry level and mediocre, he has no idea what he's talking about.

This doesn't seem like that a great deal to me, but not because the C1 isn't a good TV. I tried to get a non refurbished C1 55" when it was at around this price at some Costco's (was never able to find the posted Slickdeal locally). I ended up buying the C2 55" at Costco for $1000 shipped but then got a couple price adjustments down to $800 I think.

For ages store displays and refurb models keep being sold without the stands.

those are likely made by diff place, so probably not included in refurb
Most people probably mount them then throw the stand away so don't send it back with it.

You're missing the point. Again, there's no such thing as free shipping.
welcome to Slickdeals, where even $0.00 is too expensive for some people's taste

I'm done with oled tvs. They look great for like a year, then the burn in and weakening ofs the red, yellow, and blue just... I just can't.
I have a 2020 LG C series. Use it quite a bit. I notice no burn in and no loss of color or brightness. But yes, OLED are subject to these issues over time. But I would prefer to have a great picture and replace the TV every 10 years as needed.

The poster was obviously referring to the fact that shipping can't be free per se. Someone pays for it - the retailer in this case.
Easy to understand for those who sell something on Ebay, often offering "free shipping". Smilie
