I know there's usually a lot of doubt on the CPS warranty but I used mine recently for accidental damage. My son destroyed the screen on our 48c1 and they asked for pictures to confirm then sent me a check. Took about 2 weeks from filing the claim to getting the check. I also happen to have a spare stand for these now lol.

Tempting. Could someone tell me why the C2 is that much better? I'm just looking for something that has a 120. hertz screen for an Xbox Series X.. I would even take the B1 if it were cheaper.
B1 is a 60hz panel right?

B1 is 120hz but you won't find it anywhere.

Think I should get the 65 inch anyway even though I only sit 4-5 feet away from the TV?

Wow very tempting but I'm hesitant on refurbished OLEDS

Translation on refurbs.

There are refurbs like Canon Cameras which are really brand new but to sell below other dealers they sell it as refurb (but its brand new). Same with Bissell carpet machines which are brand new,

Then there are refurbs which the real translation is customer returned TV due to issues. Refurb TV are pretty iffy. You may get a fine one or with OLED you got burn in or some other issues. The fun part is getting the Tv and going into the menu to see how many hours it had on it.

The only way to consider this is a long warranty and easy return policy.

The TV has Protections, you can't leave it paused forever, the Screensaver comes on. You idiots can argue with me all you want. I have kids that watch Netflix a lot in the summer it's a fact, it's burnt in. Argue with a random person on the internet about their own experiences. unbelievable.

here you go, just took some pics for you. the worst is the squares from the netflix screen.

obviously these pics don't do the actual look justice when you're in the room, but good enough.
Best not to call people idiots. It is unprofessional.

In regards to your burn in, hard to tell that kind of burn in you have but my guess is some static image with the image brightness set at maximum. Most likely user error,

Now if you like to watch CNN or FOX, I know that logo did some screen burn in on my plasma temporarily. These logos are static.

So it is possible. I really hate Logos in the corner. Should be banned. The worse is the home shopping network to have the phone number burned in.

Guys you aren't going to find a new LG C1 anywhere and if you do it will be at a ridiculous price. These comments are pointless.

Edit: Also buydig says these refurbished units come from the manufacturer.

I bought the 65 new from Costco in August 2022 for $1,700 including a total of five years coverage. I think this is a great deal for an excellent TV. I don't need the newest model. I have no regrets buying the C1 last year when it was a 2021 model and I'd definitely buy it again if I had a need for it especially at this price.

How much did they offer up? After my tv was 1 year old they offered my merely 35% purchase price. When I asked about the replacement, they said I have right, but I could take 6month plus to find an equivalent model and conditions.

Interesting. If it were a C2 I would probably grab it. Weird that there's no stand included.
I may be mistaken, but I am fairly certain the C1 is better for gaming than the C2. If you are in the market for an OLED and want to save some money, this looks like a pretty amazing deal for the 55".

Be nice if one of the 77" or 83" popped up at this price.

I believe the key lost feature between C1 and C2 was black frame insertion at 120fps -- pretty niche but can make a diff at the highest framerate games. I have the 77" C1 in living room and it's glorious

$751.43 with free standard shipping and tax which is the price for a mid level QLED. Seems like a decent deal if the warranty would actually cover burn in which I would most likely have in 6 months.
