The EC750G Ecologic Series Uninterruptible Power Supply from CyberPower comes equipped with twelve electrical outlets. Three of these outlets are eco controlled outlets designed to conserve energy by cutting power to USB connected peripherals when that computer is in sleep mode. This UPS also comes equipped with six battery- and surge-protected outlets and six surge-only protected outlets, providing both surge protection and battery backup in the case of a power interruption.

The included sealed lead-acid battery comes with a typical recharge time of 8 hours and is capable of an 8.8 minute run time at 225W and 1.7 minutes at 450W. The integrated surge protected outlets are capable of absorbing up to 526 Joules keeping your attached electrical devices safe from harmful spikes in electrical current. Also included with this UPS is CyberPower's own PowerPanel Personal Edition software. When this software is used with a compatible Windows-based PC, you can instruct the PowerPanel software to save open files, set the machine to hibernate mode, and eventually safely shut down the PC when the backup battery is depleted.
ECO Mode
The user selectable ECO mode removes power to computer peripherals connected to the ECO designated outlets when the UPS detects the computer, connected to the UPS via USB, is turned off or in sleep mode. This results in additional cost savings by eliminating the power consumption of idle devices.
Energy-Saving Technology
This ENERGY STAR qualified UPS system utilizes CyberPower's own patented GreenPower UPS High Efficiency design to reduce power consumption by increasing power efficiency to greater than 98% to save costs and reduce emissions.
Ultra-Quiet Operation
This uninterruptable power supply comes with reduced sound emissions.
EMI/RFI Filters
Shielding against electromagnetic interference and radio frequency signals prevents line noise ("humming") over telephone lines or audio systems.
Transformer-Spaced Outlets
Widely-spaced outlets accommodate large transformer-based plugs without compromising the utility of other outlets.
USB Connectivity
The integrated HID compliant USB port enables full integration with built-in power management and auto shutdown features of Windows, Linux and Mac OS.
Convenient Mounting
Compact size for mounting horizontal or vertical.
LED Indicators
LED status lights indicate Power-On and ECO on/off.
Audible Alarms
Distinctive tones identify when the unit is running on battery power, if it is overloaded or when the battery is low.
Resettable Circuit Breaker
The user may use this convenient unit reset switch in case of an overload.
PowerPanel Personal Edition
In the event of a power outage, PowerPanel Personal Edition saves open files and "hibernates" the PC to increase the run-time on the UPS unit. PowerPanel is easily installed on any Windows-based PC and uses minimal system resources. Diagnostic screens display the status of the UPS, including silent operation mode, configurable system notifications, automatic self tests, adjustable high/low voltage warnings, event/data logging and scheduled shutdowns.
Windows Compatibility
The included PowerPanel power management software has been fully tested and is compatible with Windows 8 32/64, Windows 7 32/64, Vista 32/64, XP 32/64, 2000, 2003, Server 2008, and Server 2012

The deal button goes to B&H Photo.. that is the correct link. Pls add their name to title and the actual link in the post. The Amazon link does not show a sale. If using that link to show reviews, pls clarify in the post.

Not sure the lengthy description/summary is needed.

50% off is a good price for this UPS.

heads up,,, i had a very bad experience with cyberpowers so-called warranty recently with a ups 1500 that started clicking over to battery more and more even though there was no power problems and the other ups in the house were not. then one day shortly after i got home from work when the ups clicked over to battery there was a loud pop and a lot of smoke! i quickly unplugged everything form it and grabbed it and ran outside with it. they replaced it and all seemed well. that is for about 2 months then the replacement just up and died. this time around they stopped replying until i opened several tickets. then still they were being difficult. they wanted to and i let them send me a set of replacement batteries even though i told them that was not going to fix it. then i had to get mad and _VERRRY NASTY_ with them. they wanted to send me some lesser model. oh and this time they wanted me to pay shipping at first. PFFT!

luckly i was home when it decided to give up the ghost and didnt burn the house down. O.O

at least the 2 sets of batteries were worth something in return.

a 750 that only does 1.7 minutes runtime at 450W?
what a marketing scam.
what's the battery inside? and is it replaceable?

i have an apc750 and has 2 batteries and is replaceable.
i've replaced the batteries once around 5yrs ago then it started beeping recently.
i ordered another set and the day it arrives, it stopped beeping. that was 6 months ago.

yeah, i should test it by unplugging it from the wall while my computer is on and time how long it stays on to test battery life...

I've never been able to buy replacement batteries for my CyberPower units. I have old APC's I still use with new batteries.

You can buy new batteries for all Cyberpower UPS's, but they do not make them easy to swap out. Vertiv Leibert units by contrast are super easy to swap out. I've done battery swaps in both and will only buy Vertiv now.

If it has a USB connection the PC software can do a self test that internally disconnects power and measures the battery then reconnects when it is nearly drained and gives you a time.

At least on the models I have. I don't have this model.
