The subscription has a lot of games available to download and play as long as you maintain the subscription.
I know some people wonder why I have the Xbox and think the PS five is better.
I'll tell you where Sony is not better, pricing.
When I got my PS five recently, I was really disappointed with how expensive PlayStation plus is, and the fact that it has zero good games on it compared to game pass.
The major issue is the Sony first party titles do not launch day one on PlayStation plus like Microsoft does.
Now that I got this series on sale, I did the method where you buy three years of Xbox core and then converted it to game pass ultimate.
I have two years of ultimate for what worked out to about 5.50 a month.
That is so much cheaper than the PlayStation service.
So, basically, from here on out, I am only going to subscribe to game pass. If a multiplayer game comes out like a call of duty, I will only get the Xbox version to play online.
Due to Sony's greed, my PlayStation is going to sit only for single player story games that come out exclusive to that system.
My Xbox series X will be used for pretty much everything else.

It used to be be a 1:1 conversion, but changed to 3:2 recently.

Then you load up on up to 36 months of Xbox game pass core. Which is the new cheapest option. For example, just a couple of days ago I was able to buy three years from target for $45 per year.
Then, after you have the three years of core loaded on your account, you can "upgrade" to game pass ultimate and the conversion ratio is currently 3:2.
So for three years of game pass core, it converted into two years of game pass ultimate.
There are some websites where you can get these for even cheaper if you're comfortable using some shady sites.
But for me, using the target sale, it worked out to five something a month for two years.

All for $349!
They keep going in and OOS fast so you have to check in periodically. The price also seems to go up and down. I was able to score a Diablo bundle for $349.

Delivery person left Xbox at front door with no shipping box or bag and the outside Diablo IV sleeve at one corner had a 3" tear. Otherwise retail box and console was good condition.

Neither game is super appealing to me, but I would pick Forza if I had the choice (the only that seems to be in and out of available for shipping to me is the system with no games)
