Single dude here, I use a silicone ice cube tray or similar from the dollar from the dollar store. spatula the left overs in a few of the slots, freeze, pop out into zip back, back into freezer.

I got this italian paste last time. It's perfectly fine for all applications I use it for. The only sad part, is that it molds before I finish it. That's the real benefit of squeeze types. You can simply squeeze the moldy part off.

The 24 8oz tomato sauce would be a deal at $12.5x. Showing $18 with NO coupon code. $.50 each is very competitive for this premium base sauce. Oh well.

This is probably what I'll do next time. Squeeze is handy and I got some on clearance, but not recyclable.

You can also freeze garlic like this (add a bit of olive oil to it)

It says grown and packed in California.

Saw a Documentary on Netflix where it explains that Most Tomatoes for sauce are grown in China nowadays, and they just export the paste to Europe where they just add Salt and some spices and gets repacked as Made in ( famous European country known for Pasta)

California tomatoes have been better than Italian imports for years. Italy has not produced a great tomato in at least 10 years. Buy a can of each & try them side by side. You won't like the San marzano DOP tomatoes as much.
