I added a natures made b12 that had a 30% off coupon to my cart(but did NOT checkout) then went to Nature Made Vitamin B12 3000 mcg fast dissolves and applied the 40% coupon and did subscribe and save, confirmed and paid $1.81 shipped

(I tried it without adding the 30% coupon item to my cart first, just the 40% off and s&s and the total was $3.98 shipped) (somehow doing it the way I tried the second time, got me the bigger discount and total down to $1.81)

I don't think this is correct?
Vsauce was correct. I just tried it, and the 40% coupon can be used one-time only.

FYI That is NOT just D3 it has artificial sweeteners that kill your gut biome, and "natural flavors" which ANYTHING on a label that says "flavor" is sorta like the MSG molecule and also will cause gut problems. If you have a gut health issue DO NOT take artificially sweetened stuff. Came to $1.53 and then I read the label and they would have to pay me to throw this in the trash.

So with "Save and Subscribe" I always see it can be a lot cheaper on the initial sign-up like this one is basically free. Is it common for people to get the 1st delivery for free and then cancel the "Save and Subscribe"

Came here to say this. D3 toxicity is nothing to play with.

Picked up two Vit D3. The $9 "extra savings" off applied to both (though the $7.60 coupon savings applied only once). Came out to $10.48 before tax. Woulda gone for just one for $1.44 but needed two.

5000 IU, though. Every two or three days, maybe? Come to think of it, I'm in gloomy Seattle so maybe 2x/day Wink

Please don't spread false information! 5,000 IU is about what the average person whois even mildly deficient needs to take per day. If you have certain health issues such as autoimmune ones, even autoimmune asthma you need more. I take 10,000 IU and have no asthma while on it. There are NO KNOWN safety issues ever when taskin 50,000+ IU's a day, over 150,000 IU's a day HAS been found to have some issues in some people BUT also is proven in some people to be the only thing to fix their autoimmune issues.

A "more normal" dose is 1,000-4000 IU a day, the average person is deficient in D by A LOT but if we pretend someone actually has a moderate level 1,000-2,000IU is the currently believe REQUIRED dose by naturopaths. ie: the people who actually want others to be healthy and not constantly going back to their DR and buying pharma and paying into that sick industry.

If you are concerned about dosage - DAYS DO NOT MATTER - you can take 50,000IU in a day and go weeks... Medically they often give 150,000IU in a shot all at once per month. Generally it is considered that in a month you should get about 50,000-150,000. The RDA's by the U.S. governement have long been proven complete BS and totally false for certain things. B3 is a great example. RDA is less than 1% of actual proven requirement by the liver even. This is why NOBODY get sick off those B-Bomb type Super pills... Conventional wisdom is actually embraced idiocy, don't feed into herd-logic.

Also, do you consume fluoride through water, toothpaste, processed meats, etc? You aren't absorbing much D if you do...... I don't consume nearly any fluoride and 10,000IU a day is perfect.
Established safe upper limit is 4000 IU per day.

I think you meant to say 400 IU is the recommended dosage and 4,000 is the max recommended with exception of some disease (see Pubmed, Mayo Clinic, WebMD, etc) but i understand without your lack of any citations you probably just misspoke and weren't trying to spread "false information."
