Avoid this bank at all costs. They kept my money stating it was a fraud just because I didn't put my middle name. I had to get OCFT and CFPB involved to get my money. Ridiculous.

Avoid US Bank at all cost!!! They flagged my business account as fraud when I funded the new account with money from my OWN bank account. The bank froze my money for a few months and was unwilling to honor the bonus. It took me multiple trips to the branch and calling their HQ to settle this in order to get my money back.

US bank is a fraud. They do not honor any promotions. I never got any of their promotions and they give you a runaround. And their service is horrible. avoid them.

Awful bank. Tied up my money for a while and never followed-up. I had to hound them, gave me the runaround, and finally they said I am a fraud risk and to never even try to bank with them again. Months later, got my money back with zero interest earned. Could have been worse

I let it go as no harm was done. they just want to earn bonus in branch by opening more stuff or accounts. I closed it recently.

Yeah, the Savings offer is terrible. The interest rate on their Savings account is almost nil, and the $200 bonus on keeping $25K for at least 6 months is less than 1%, net APY is less than 2%. Yuck. Put that $25K into an Ally no-penalty CD at 4.55% for 6 months and it'll earn $568.

I got a targeted invitation for the 500 checking bonus a month ago, applied 3 times before expiration and got denied all times. My credit is 800 and got instant approval for anything else.

US bank account opening promotion offers are scam . When it's time to give the promotion amount they will come up with excuse like they don't see promotion code was applied . Worst bank when it comes to keep their promises… avoid it slickdealers

I got the last (i think it was $750) offer which required 15K deposited. at the beginning they would not approve me for a checking account. I was told by csr the reason for that was they dont have banks in my state. I went around it by getting a credit card first. After doing that, my bank account was approved instantly. Also, my bonus was credited on time and with no issues.
