Klipsch has several lines in their speaker/subwoofer products. The "R" line (this subwoofer line) is entry level.

I doubt audioholics would bother testing anything in the "R" line.

Just admit you're wrong. This is the entry level "R" Reference line. Not the "RP" Reference Premier line.
TOTALLY different products.
There is no R-1600, only an RP-1600.
