Great to see full support for the entire color space at high refresh rate for 4k. This should make this an option for plenty of PC users if desired.
Interesting to see how, presumably for cost-cutting reasons, this was built as a switch or splitter instead of a full on matrix 2x2 switch (the comparable version[monoprice.com] of which is currently priced at $150).

I thought this was a matrix given the description. The model you listed does eARC extraction as well, though extracted audio seems to be analog or optical only from what I read at a glance.

So the $150 version you linked will allow 120hz 4k video, and atmos extraction via the secondary hdmi port? (If the receiver only supports 4k 60hz)

Both the switch/splitter in this listing as well as the matrix to which I linked support 120Hz 4k. Also noteworthy is that both devices do so while supporting the full color space.

The audio extraction feature is typically targeted at home theater or whole home audio users, who often require/support optical or analog audio respectively (think: home receiver or a Sonos with a line-in).

So what's the use case for this one? Can it be used for switching between computers?
Would this work to split the PS5 output for both a 4k/120hz display AND a non-hdmi 2.1 older receiver/processor to get full bandwidth Atmos?
You need eARC HDMI for Atmos passthrough from what I recall. Optical/SPDIF will transmit lossy DD and DTS at best. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong on that.

Atmos is meta data that's included in Dolby Digital Plus or TrueHD 7.1
Cannot play Crysis, pass.
